Grew up sailing Lightning's primarily since age 8, have competed in many national and world championships. Currently own a Lightning at Carlyle Sailing Association where I'm also a board member and where my kids enjoy the kid friendly atmosphere. Being part owner and organizer of this J-105 campaign that's traveling the country has been a total joy and I look forward to an adventerous year.

A resident of Alton, IL, and a plaintiff attorney, Marcus has litigated for over a decade, all over the country, on behalf of hundreds of victims who have contracted cancer through toxic or chemical exposures. Marcus has been able to combine a love of sailing with philanthropy through the Vindicator’s 2006 Campaign. Together with his Dad, Marcus also owns the motor boat 'Barnacle' which is based in Seattle.

"Papli" has been sailing for the past 35 years and sails mostly at Lake Carlyle near St Louis Mo, but also participates in many Regional and National events around the country. Tom is married with 2 children and is the owner of a construction company named Paoli Builders.

Grew up an avid outdoors woman and since meeting Rick, has taken sailing on as her number one sport. In the past 4 years, Heather has found crew rides on a Lightning, E-Scow, F18 Catermaran, last year's Vindicator racing team's J-105, as well as now being the full time bowbabe on our Melges 24. Heather brings spirit, organization, a level personality and attorney benefits to the team.
